Experience that translates into clear teaching.
Coach Lewayne brings the perspective of a former college basketball player and high school coach to every DREAMS2REALITY session. He has coached boys and girls from middle school through the high school level and understands what players need to earn trust, minutes and larger roles.
His player-development work includes two girls who earned ESPN Top 50 national recognition and multiple athletes who progressed into college scholarship opportunities. The standard remains the same for every athlete: attention to detail, consistency, coachability and accountability.
Training approach
Not just drills. Skills that hold up in games.
A workout should help a player recognize the read, execute the footwork and make the right decision at game speed. Coach Lewayne breaks skills into understandable details, then adds pace, pressure and decision-making so the work transfers to competition.
- Shooting mechanics, footwork and repeatable balance
- Ball control, pace and change of direction
- Finishing angles, contact and decision-making
- Basketball IQ, communication and coachability
